About Coach Reslow:

Scott Reslow has been coaching volleyball at the high school, collegiate, and club level for nearly 25 years.

At the high school level, Reslow spent time at East Greenwich High School, with a brief Assistant stint at Toll Gate High School, as an Assistant and then Head Coach of both the boys’ and girls’ programs which featured playoff finishes and one final four finish with the boys.

In 2009, Reslow was named the Head Men’s Volleyball Coach at Johnson & Wales University.  12 seasons later, Reslow amassed over 225 wins (167 in the NCAA), numerous top four finishes in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), over 30 of his players garnered All-Conference selections, GNAC Coach of the Year in 2011, while becoming a sitting member on the AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) National Ranking Committee, the AVCA All-American Committee, and the chair of the AVCA All-Regional Committee.  In 2019, Reslow was named on the top 25 list of winningest active men’s volleyball coaches in the NCAA encapsulating all Divisions.

During his tenure at Johnson & Wales (JWU), Reslow joined the Sports Information Department as an Assistant Sports Information Director.  Here, Reslow worked in statistics, sports writing, journalism, and sports broadcasting.  From there, Reslow became one of the top broadcasters in the JWU athletic department calling women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, and some baseball games.

In 2020, with the dissolvement of the JWU Men’s Volleyball program, Reslow took on the head coaching position for the 18-1s South County Boys Volleyball Club, becoming their boys training coordinator, and eventually the assistant director.  Due to Reslow’s tutelage, South County has been ranked top three in the Northeast Region for boys’ volleyball since 2021.

2020 also saw Coach Reslow became a volleyball official for the RIIL (Rhode Island Interscholastic League) as well as an NCAA Line Judge for men’s and women’s volleyball…note: his officiating presence officially ended in 2024 upon his hiring at Wheaton College (MA).

In 2022 / 2023 Reslow also worked for Next College Student Athlete (NCSA) as their men’s volleyball expert, working with student athletes all across the United States as well as internationally.

Reslow has been the broadcaster for the RIIL girls’ and boys’ volleyball championships since 2021 for NFHS, held at Rhode Island College, while continuing his coaching at the club level at South County. He’s also been a broadcaster for both Wentworth Institute of Technology and Rivier University for many of their home men’s volleyball matches since the 2022 season, including broadcasting the GNAC championship(s) at Wentworth, the NECC (New England Collegiate Conference) championship at Endicott College (2022), and the NCAA DIII Men’s Volleyball Regionals held at Wentworth in 2024. Reslow has also been featured broadcaster for some AAU New England tournament championship matches which started in 2022. 2023 also marked a new adventure for Coach Reslow as he was named the color commentator for Brown University volleyball on ESPN+.

In 2024, Reslow rejoined the collegiate ranks when he was hired to man the first men’s volleyball program in Wheaton College’s history in Norton, MA. As well as being the head coach for the men’s volleyball team, Reslow broadcasts and produces for Wheaton’s athletic department and their new affiliation with the Flo Sports Network.

In his spare time, Reslow roasts his own coffee beans, smokes meats in his outdoor smoker, and cooks wonderful dishes in his full size, well-seasoned, wok. Reslow also writes constantly and has been on numerous podcasts, most recently being the “Keep Going Podcast” which is a show dedicated to mental health in athletics.

“If we can systemize all aspects of the game, we can then clearly see where improvements can be made and quickly identify strategic changes in real time during match play.”
