Standing in the parking lot talking with the crew that helped pull the first ever ResV Systems Charity All-Star Match off…Steve Simmons threw the bomb that would change the trajectory, “You should do this for the girl’s season as well!”

Thus it was so, the 2023 ResV Charity All-Star Match was now a dual event. Boys and Girls volleyball matches were on the docket and when the day came, both matches were something else…

The event was outstanding! Top players from all over the state met at East Greenwich High School to participate in the ResV Charity All-Star match, featuring the format of 6 sets (Sets 1 through 4 to 25, sets 5 and 6 to 15) with the outcome decided by numbers picked from a hat.

Team South was on fire that day as both Boys and Girls South teams won the event and only dropped a single set in 12 sets of play. The level was solid as well, filled with long rallies, big kills, tough serving, and huge blocks. Add that the event raised $350 dollars for the Tomorrow Fund (Sponsor Wyld Card Volleyball matched it, so $700 went to the Tomorrow Fund on the day), and it was a great day all the way around.
