2022 RI Girls Volleyball Ready to Rock as the Summer Fades…

8/26/22

As the Summer starts to show its vulnerability, school goes back into session and the RI high school girls’ volleyball season taxis to the runway with pre-check protocols in motion.

The 2022 season opens with many questions, primarily who the team is to beat, but also out of the ResV top 25 players in the state from last year only a handful are back as 90% have graduated or moved on. Thankfully, this season feels normal as all of the weirdness of the past two years is in the rear-view mirror.

Questions going into the season…Can North Kingstown reclaim the top spot? Can South Kingstown repeat? How will the schools that moved Divisions fare? How will the new coaches do in their first go around? Who will ultimately make the ResV Top 26 players in the state?

Divisional play opens on September 8th, with some great matchups right out of the gate…

La Salle Academy hosting the Skippers of North Kingstown - 9/8/22 : 6:30pm

Classical hosting Coventry - 9/8/22 : 6pm

Westerly hosting Rodgers - 9/8/22 : 6:30pm
